Q: How long does the permanent makeup procedure take?
A: With our totally unique methods of application of pigment and the use of multiple machines (each designed to perform a specific function) a full face permanent makeup, i.e. eyeliner tattoos, eyebrow tattoos, lip line and shade tattoos can be performed in approximately one and a half hours. A follow up visit may be needed for final touch up and blending.
Q: What about the risk of communicable diseases?
A: There is no risk to client or practitioner as needles, remaining pigment and all parts contacting the client’s skin used during the cosmetic tattooing procedure are disposed of immediately following the treatment.
Kathleen Gentry’s clinics have the latest hospital grade autoclave sterilization and ultrasonic methods. Our clinics are fully certified by the Government Health Department. Our work also requires we operate from the rooms of doctors, and plastic surgeons which naturally adhere to the strict health guidelines set down for the medical profession.
Q: How long will my cosmetic tattoo last?
A: It is possible for your cosmetic tattoo to last up to ten years. However it is dependent upon each persons physiology and their life style. If you spend a lot of time in the sun or in swimming pools with chlorinated water the longevity of the procedure is reduced.
Q: What about pigments, are they safe?
A: All the pigments used during our cosmetic tattooing procedures are natural, completely inert and remain so when implanted under the skin.
Q: What colours can I have?
A: All shades of colours are available. Kathleen’s twenty three years as a facial colour consultant ensures you get the correct advice about the colour best suited to you.
Q: Does Cosmetic Tattooing Hurt?
A: No – With our unique technique most clients feel quite comfortable throughout the entire cosmetic tattooing procedure.
